A Simple Kitchen Hearth - Cherry

If you've been in Vivo! with a litte girl in tow, you've likely been dragged over to our display Simple Hearth. Truly a heirloom piece, this is a piece that her children ... and their children ... will play with.
Michigan craftsmen use solid cherry to construct the kitchen, while walnut handles and birch accents add variety.
The knobs for the stove, burner and faucet work smoothly without the use of any metal hardware. Not visible in this image, a sliding, 12" long cutting board pulls out from under the burners for even more play room. The oven and sink doors include self-closing hinges; the partition between the oven and sink compartments add safety and create more realistic play. A slide out, metal oven rack is also included for cooking those big meals. The removable heavy gauge stainless steel sink makes for easy cleaning.
Finally, in a mark of true craftsmanship, there are no exposed screws or buttons, and the back of the kitchen is fully finished so that it can be positioned anywhere in the room.
Dimensions: 24" wide, 14" deep, 39" tall. Ships partially assembled -- the hutch and handles need to be attached.
