Need something a little nicer than paper? These compostable bamboo veneer plates & tray are just the thing you've been looking for. Sturdy enough for any meal, the manufacturer calls them single-use, but we know from experience that for light meals (like sandwiches) they can be gently handwashed and reused several times. When past their prime, the plates can be composted, breaking down in about 4-6 months.
